With the Tapu river flowing through the property - swim in the many waterholes, or admire carnelian, jasper and quartz crystals - semi-precious gemstones and minerals can be found in the clear water. Enjoy star gazing, bird watching and relaxing with a book in one of the many secluded corners of the property. In true Coromandel fashion the cabin is a rustic back to basics stay - ideal for those seeking simplicity in nature. The simple cottage/cabin is a single bedroom/living-space with a large double queen bed, and private en-suite bathroom. Situated close to the main house, we're nearby if you need anything, but will give you all the privacy and space you need to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Neighbouring national forest, just 5km up the road from the beautiful Pohutukawa coastline, 2km in the opposite direction to the majestic Square Kauri, and Rapaura Watergardens is just a 5 minute stroll away.
