Private Basement Apartment

Keep it simple in this centrally located basement apartment. My home is located in a quiet suburb of Grand Rapids, located between the popular city of Grand Rapids and the “Gold Coast” of Lake Michigan. We are located about 30 minutes from the beaches of Holland, 45 minutes to the beach is a Grand Haven, and about 15 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids. The space The home is well kept and clean. While this is my full time home, I make every effort to welcome my guests. I do have a well behaved and SUPER FRIENDLY dog, Kyle who absolutely loves meeting guests and become your new best friend. However she stays on the main floor/upper home and does not like the basement stairs, so she will normally avoid the basement at all costs. The listed property is a full basement apartment with full private bath for two guests. There is a couch and futon that can accommodate groups of up to 4. The space has a wet bar, small fridge, microwave, Keurig machine, air fryer, and hot plate. There is a full sized dinning table and a small livingroom area with a 55 inch tv and access to all the apps. I do occasionally rent out a room on the upper level of the house so there may be other guests, but the basement has complete privacy. House quiet hours begin at 10pm. Guests have access to the kitchen, laundry room, and lower patio with hot is available with a little coordination. Guest access Guests will be able to use the whole basement (minus the mechanical room ) and the full kitchen, living room and laundry room located on the main floor During your stay As this is my primary residence, I will usually be around to help guests with any questions related to our local community. Please feel free to ask about what beaches to see on Lake Michigan or great places to eat or visit in Grand Rapids. Other things to note Again, I occasionally rent a room on the upper floor of the main house so there is a possibility that another guest may be present. However, the basement is fairly separate from the main and upper level so its doubtful you will see much of anyone-including me :) The basement can fit up to four -however guests must be aware that there is only 1 full size bed. There is a futon, a couch, and foam sleeping pad to accommodate a potential 3rd or 4th guest. ** please note the hot tub is only available when the weather cools down significantly- normally October to early April. I have tried keeping it open year round and it simply does not get used once it warms up. Please message me with any questions. Message me to inquire about unavailable dates. Now that school is in session (Im an elementary school teacher), Some before and after dates of a guest's stay may be blocked off for ease of turnaround. However, depending on guest check in time I can sanitize and make the space ready in about an hour.
