Luxury Lodge "De Spjocht" is beautifully located on the edge of the nature pond. Through the large glass front, you can look out over the beautiful nature that surrounds our nature pond. This model has a large glass front with patio doors that can be completely darkened with large luxury curtains. Inside, the accommodation offers three different rooms. All rooms have electric underfloor heating. **Sleeping and living space** In this room, you will find the kitchen, seating area and a luxurious double bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cutlery, pans, stove, fridge with freezer, coffee maker and a kettle. The windows in the kitchen have roller blinds and screens. The bed consists of a luxurious 2x single box spring bed 80 x 200 cm, which is made up on arrival. In front of this room is a seating area for 3 people. **Extra bedroom** This lodge has a separate extra bedroom, which is closed with a door, and a single bed of 80 x 200 cm. **Bathroom** The bathroom is a separate lockable room with a shower cubicle, toilet and a sink with a mixer tap. **Outside** The vacation home has a wooden deck at the front, with patio furniture for 3 people where you can sit outside and have a beautiful view over the nature pond. **Boat dock** For each holiday home, a berth for a boat is available on the waterway. Centrally, there is a small trailer ramp for the entry and exit of your own vessel. Other things to note Westergeest is located on the outskirts of the National Landscape Northern Frisian Forests between the Swimmer and the Strobosser Trekvaart near Dokkum and Kollum and half an hour away from both Groningen and Leeuwarden. The area lends itself well to beautiful trips by bicycle, on foot and by canoe. You can also rent a bike from us. Westergeest is located in the middle of an area with historic cycling and hiking trails. The Lauwersmeer National Park is within cycling distance. A unique park that offers a range of opportunities for recreation. Swimming, surfing, sailing, hiking, bird watching. 8 kilometers away is Dokkum, the northernmost city of eleven Frisian cities. In the historic center, you will find cozy shops, beautiful terraces and tasty eateries. You can take a city walk on the Bolwerk. The cozy center of Kollum invites you to shop. Both Groningen and Leeuwarden are easily accessible by both car and train (Buitenpost station). And how about a day trip to one of the Wadden Islands, Schiermonnikoog or Ameland?
