Enjoy nature in all its glory. Get lost on this 5 acre ranch with incredible mountain views, South Fork River and horses in the pasture. We're located near the center of Three Rivers, Kaweah Lake, and 5 mi from entrance of Sequoia National Park. The two bedrooms comfortable fits four people. However we allow five people if one should want to sleep on the couch. The master bedroom is a queen size bed. The second bedroom is a full size bed with a trundel (a twin bed that pulls out from under the full size bed to the border the right side of the bed.) With the twin bed pulled out, the second room is very tight.Guest accessGuests have access to the entire property, except for the garage and back house. The house is a duplex. The guests have access to their side of the house and the entire property, including the outside grill.Guests are advised not to enter the horse pasture, just for your safety. Also the path to the river is wild so please wear appropriate shoes. The BBQ is on a propane tank. If the propane is out, you may refill it at the Chevron gas station 2 miles east on 198.Other things to noteThe house is split like a duplex. Guests may be staying in the back unit. You may use the grill outside when it is free. The television only has Roku, giving you access to stream videos online through the television. Please feel free to use my account on Netflix to stream videos. The farm cats are named Gee and Bohdi. The cats are very friendly. If you do not like cats, please feel free to shoo them away. They like to be around people, but are not inside cats. They are fed by us outside and are not inside. Also, be respectful of the animals on the property. The cats are outdoor cats and are very friendly. The river is 200 yards in the back of the property. Follow the path beyond the metal green gate at the top of the hill. Note: depending on the season the river may be rushing or completely dry. At the end of the summer and fall, the river is a trickle or completely dry. In the spring and summer it is roaring. Be mindful of wild animals and poison oak. AC units are window units. Please turn them off each time you leave the house. Heaters are not to be moved. Please leave them plugged into the outlets they are plugged into. Please turn them off each time you leave the house. Please turn off all lights each time you leave the house.Pet fee: $75/pet/stay with approval from host. Guests have access to the entire property, except for the garage and back house. The house is a duplex. The guests have access to their side of the house and the entire property, including the outside grill. Guests are advised not to enter the horse pasture, just for your safety. Also the path to the river is wild so please wear appropriate shoes. The BBQ is on a propane tank. If the propane is out, you may refill it at the Chevron gas station 2 miles east on 198. I like to engage with the guests as much as they would like. Some are interested in chatting about adventures in the park or asking about interesting trails or river adventures. Others are interested in having their own space without any interaction from the host. I'm very easy going and like to help in whichever way I can. So my level of interaction is really determined on a case by case basis. When I am not at the property, I can be reached via Airbnb message to answer any questions. Access the River and convenient location to center of Three Rivers and close access to the Sequoia National Park entrance. No public transport to rely upon. It is far better to come with transportation. However, the property has a small taste of a lot that Three Rivers has to offer so you may not want to leave ;-). You can also walk 1/2 mile to the Main Fork River and Grocery Market; a little farther to the Kaweah Lake. The house is split like a duplex. Guests may be staying in the back unit. You may use the grill outside when it is free. The television only has Roku, giving you access to stream videos online through the television. Please feel free to use my account on Netflix to stream videos. The farm cats are named "Gee" and "Bohdi." The cats are very friendly. If you do not like cats, please feel free to shoo them away. Our two dogs "Moses" and "Aaron" are uber friendly and may be on the property but they are always with us and not left unattended. They like to be around people, but are not inside cats. They are fed by us outside and are not inside. There are generally horses on or next to the property. There is no cable or local stations at the moment. AC is provided by window units and heating is provided by gas fireplace and electric heaters.
