The space Telaga Homestay Langkawi is back! After 4 years away, we are here again, ready to offer you a real "kampung" experience. Telaga Homestay Langkawi is named after Telaga (Malay for “well”), our house is inspired by our family’s heritage well, which has been preserved for over 100 years. Guests are welcome to experience a refreshing shower with natural spring water while enjoying the scenic view of the paddy fields; a truly unique experience to remember! The Gayung Unit offers a comfortable, fully furnished, and fully air-conditioned stay, perfect for a peaceful escape. With the lush greenery of paddy fields just yards away, you’ll wake up to breathtaking views every morning! Our home is well cared for and regularly cleaned, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay, with cleanliness as our top priority. The house has beds for 6 people, but we can provide extra floor mattresses (RM15/set) upon request, making it comfortable for up to 10 guests (6 on beds, 3 on floor mattresses, 1 on the sofa). If you’re lucky, during fruit season, you’re welcome to pick and enjoy rambutan, duku, mangosteen, banana, mango, and even Langkawi durian. Freshly plucked coconuts are also available for you to enjoy! Let the little ones have fun in our pool, filled with fresh spring water straight from the well. Our house is centrally located, making it easy to visit Langkawi’s top attractions: • Langkawi Airport – 8 min • Kuah Jetty – 10 min • Chenang Beach – 15 min • Seven Wells Waterfall – 26 min • Skycab – 24 min • Dream Forest – 12 min • Tanjung Rhu – 26 min • Kota Mahsuri – 5 min (These are approximate durations during non-peak hours). For adventure lovers, head to Chenang Beach to find services and packages for mangrove tours, island hopping, jet skiing, horse riding, and more! The best way to explore the island is by car or motorbike. Rentals are available at Langkawi Airport and Kuah Jetty, but we recommend booking in advance using the Cuti Cuti Langkawi app, which also offers tour bookings for mangrove tours, island hopping, and more. Alternatively, Grab is available for easy transportation around Langkawi. Guests can easily join congregational prayers at the Masjid located right next to our home. Other things to note To preserve the kampung culture, alcohol, pork, and pets are not allowed. Please note that you may hear the call to prayer from a nearby mosque five times a day. It is part of the local culture and daily life in the area.
