Gate to the Peak District

Spectacular hill views on the edge of Sheffield and gateway into the beautiful Peak district fantastic for walking hiking climbing and cycling The upstairs area is private for guests Three excellent pubs within walking distance and many more in the adjacent villages. Good wifi available If you would like a simple breakfast I will get provisions in Coffee and tea are available throughout the stay The space It is a bungalow with loft conversion The loft has 2 bedrooms (1 with double and single bed and 1 with single bed) a bathroom and a dressing/luggage room This area is private for guests. There is a kettle up there with tea and coffee The bathroom has a bath with a shower but this is not a stand up shower so the downstairs shower is also accessible to guests if preferred A third bedroom downstairs is available on request but this is not private and is sometimes not available if the host has family staying a that time Guest access Kitchen There is designated fridge space for your use and you are welcome to use the appliances The TV room has Apple TV Netflix etc There is a small Conservatory with lovely views There is an outside patio/seating area also which gets the sun in the day There is a lower decking that has dining table and BBQ The bottom garden has a small playground for children I have a downstairs small room with a mat, weights and resistance bands you are welcome to use During your stay I usually try to ensure that I am available to greet guests on arrival whenever possible and answer any questions they might have If I am not available to meet you there is a key safe next to the door and I will send you the code I have a variety of maps /walking/cycling information with advice about local facilities etc Other things to note I am at the end of the road with a blind end so is great for silence and birds but there is very little turning space to turn around large vehicles. Guests with larger vehicles should try to park further down the road before reaching my house so that they can turn around more easily There is usually more space in the day but it can be more difficult to park in the evenings
