River front rustic cabin

Relax with an off-grid cabin secluded along the Penobscot river. This cabin has NO electricity,but is generator compatible. Guests may either bring their own generator or hosts have a generator available for rent (contact hosts for details). First tank of gas is free, will have to pay for additional fills. when coming to visit us you will travel a three mile dirt road, after which you will see the cabin nestled in the woods looking at the Penobscot. The space Cabin has 3 twin beds (bunk) and one single twin bed. All with air mattresses (additional air mattress can be provided for floor). Host will not provide bath towels. No kitchen ,cooking to be done outside. Fire ring with grate or small charcoal grill available. Firewood can be purchased with host. The outside bath house offers hot shower and toilet for your convenience. Guest access Parking for up to 2 vehicles available at cabin. Suggest SUV or truck do to 3 mile dirt road leading to off-grid cabin. Other things to note If you enjoy ATV riding there are many ATV trails within this area (all ATV’s must be properly registered with the state of Maine). If you enjoy fishing, or just want to give it a try we offer “Maine registered Fishing Guide Services” on site ( speak with host for guide service fee details and scheduling).
