Tanginn, a cherished 1913 family residence updated with modern comforts, features three spacious bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a cozy living room. Overlooking the harbor, it offers stunning bay views and a vibrant atmosphere year-round. Conveniently close to restaurants and town attractions, it captures the essence of history with contemporary convenience. The space Tanginn, nestled in Stykkishólmur, Iceland, is a recently refurbished gem crafted by my family: my parents, three brothers, and myself. Furnished predominantly with locally crafted pieces, many cherished items belonged to our grandparents. The ground floor boasts two inviting bedrooms featuring queen-size beds and a well-appointed bathroom, inclusive of a washing machine. The kitchen is stocked with all the modern conveniences necessary for a comfortable stay. In the living room, guests will find a TV, alongside three vintage chairs and a locally made rocking chair adorned with genuine seal skin, a memento from a seal caught by my uncle long before my time. The attic offers a cozy double-bedroom, and extra space for 2-3 more persons, accommodating beyond the initial five-person capacity. Outdoors, guests can enjoy the morning sun with provided outdoor furniture, savoring coffee or a couple of ice-cold beers while relishing views of the bustling harbor life and the picturesque sundown. Guest access Guest will have full access to the first floor, and the attic if they wish. The basement is unavailable.
