Mulranny is a beautiful village with gorgeous views along with three welcoming local pubs and the Great Western Mulranny Hotel right on your doorstep. Behind the property is the Great Western Greenway for a gentle stroll or a bike ride. Bikes can be hired locally. A short car journey into Achill you will find some lovely beaches, Keel beach hosts water activities such as surfing - wet suits can be hired at the beach. Take a car journey along the Wild Atlantic Way and you will not be disappointed - as long as it is a clear day! Alternatively a 10 minute car journey to Newport and you can take a half day/day out with your family/friends deep sea fishing. Westport is further on from Newport - A very busy little town, well worth a visit with great shops, bars and places to eat. There is so much to see and do in Mayo, this is just a taste.
