The space This recently built Villa features 2 bedrooms each with its own private bathroom (with shower) air-conditioning, ceiling fan and mosquito nets. Each bedroom has a king sized bed that can be configured as one large or two individual beds. Open plan fully equipped kitchen (fridge/freezer and cooker), lounge/living room (with television); large shaded outdoor patio area (with fans) and seating for relaxing and dining. A beautfully manicured garden features local plants as well as indigenous trees. A private bar area adjoins the pool and is equipped with bar stools, cooling fan and a drinks cooler. Starlink internet access throughout the property. The property features a state of art solar energy system together with a back-up on-site generator. A large undergound fresh water tank ensures an adequeate supply of water. For larger bookings we can also offer Kasa Eliza, which adjoins, and can be accessed via a beautiful lamu door. Please enquire if you would wish to book both. Guest access Kasa Emma is exclusive and private. Facilities are self contained with a shared secure parkign area for up to two vehicles. Gated entrance (with Night guard) ensures safety and security throughout your stay. Other things to note Please don't hesitate to ask us anything, at any time. We genuinely want to tailor your stay with us to meet and exceed your expectations. We take real pride in protecting the environment, and have therefore selected our shower gels, soaps, and cleaning materials from a Kenyan firm: Grounded. Grounded soaps are made from vegetable oils; the base packaging is 100% locally sourced, using recycled plastic, glass or paper, and the citrus cleaning concentrate comes from citrus peels otherwise headed for the compost. We support Kenyan farmers - with quality inputs like coconut oil from Kwale, sunflower oil from Nakuru, and canola oil from Mt Kenya. Wakulima kwanza! Together with our solar power plant and rainwater collection system, we have sought to make this stay as environmentally friendly as we possibly can. The property runs on solar energy 24/7, with a back-up generator on hand for any emergencies. Please note that the air-conditioning units in both bedrooms draw on the local energy provider, KPLC, and this supply can be intermittent. Ceiling fans run throughout and are ceiling fans throughout.
