The cottage existed as a shop since the 1800’s and later ‘The Penny Bank’ and has now been modernised. This beautifully refurbished cottage retains traditional character but also includes a host of modern comforts, making it an ideal home away from home The space This property has been newly tastefully decorated and furnished. As a self-catering cottage, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay. This cottage has 1 bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, utility room and lounge. The bedroom has a double bed. The lounge can accommodate additional bed space with a good quality bed sofa. There is a modern stylish bathroom that boasts a toilet, sink and walk in shower. The kitchen has a fridge with freezer compartment, a hob, an oven, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, and microwave. A washer dryer machine with iron etc in the utilities room. The cottage is a perfect place to work or relax and offers a HD television and high speed fibre internet access. Linen, towels, and hair dryer are all included to make your stay more enjoyable. Barrow is a village with good local amenities The Coop is handy for provisions. There are two pubs, one with a good reputation for evening food. There are takeaways chines and pizza, fish and chips etc. Barrow Sports and fitness is very welcoming for sport activities pool snooker and an evening bar. Barrow is well connected to the motorway routes. It also offers quick access with little traffic to the ports of Immingham and Grimsby. House Rules: - Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am. - Smoking is not allowed. - There is shared parking to the rear and on street parking Guest access Entry is by keycode. Shared parking is free if available to the rear of the cottage. if parking is not available there is plenty of space on the High st near the cottage. the High st is not a busy through route so is generally very quiet. Other things to note Papist Hall Mews is a collection of small cottages on a private cobbled driveway. It adjoins Ribston House built in the early 1800’s and together with Ribston Cottages forms this quiet amenable private dwellings.
