Gorgeous oak groves, open fields & the exquisite cypress trees along the river. Restaurants, bars and live music of Bandera are only a 5 minute drive away! The space The camper trailer comes with all of the following features. This is an off-grid setup. Propane for the duration of your stay (for furnace, water heater and dual camp stove in the kitchenette) A generator with full tank for use of the AC, all appliances & electrical outlets (A full tank allows for 7 hours of run time) Use of overhead lights run off a battery, so generator is not required just for lighting. 11 gallons of fresh water in fresh water tank. It is NOT potable. It is safe for washing dishes and showering, but it is not drinking water 11 gallons is a very small amount. Please use water sparingly. Gray and black water will be emptied prior to your arrival. The black water tank is very small, so for stays longer than 1 night, we recommend using the nearby porta-potty when possible and bringing paper plates/plastic cutlery to limit washing dishes.) You will be able to explore the rest of the 30 acre property. **If you would like to reserve the entire 30 acres, please message your host for pricing!** There may or may not be other guests at the other campsites. The camper trailer is located about a 10-15 minute walk down to the river. During dry conditions, the road to the river is accessible to all vehicles. During rainy (or recent rainy) conditions, the road to the river is ONLY accessible to 4x4 vehicles. Please plan accordingly. Reach out to your host with any questions! :) Under normal conditions, the camper trailer is 2WD and 4WD accessible. During rainy (or recent rainy) conditions, 2WD vehicles may way to park on rock road (30-40 feet from the camper) instead of driving all the way up to the camper, due to muddy conditions. Other things to note *PETS. Please remember this is an off grid setup. Pets are welcome, but please note that they may NOT EVER be left alone in the camper due to safety reasons. The camper runs off of a generator and the generator should NEVER be left unattended because they could run out of gas or need to be rest, etc.* If you would like to bring additional guests and tents, please let your host know. The cost is an additional $10 per tent (maximum of 4 people per tent) per night. Our slice of land on the Medina River is truly gorgeous! There are beautiful cypress trees that are magical year round, and there are often small rapids. If relaxing in the shade by the river and dipping your feet in is your thing, our property is perfect for that! However, this is not a swimming hole. The Medina River is generally not considered safe in Bandera, TX, due to consistent low flow.
