Unique tiny house with panoramic views - "Solgløtt"

Welcome to Solgløtt! Here you can get an overnight stay in the scenic area of Dirdal with an unforgettable view. With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. All amenities are available either in the tiny house or in the basement of the shop Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg nearby. In 2023 and 2025, the farm shop was named Norway's best farm shop and is a small attraction in itself. Right next door you will find a sauna that can be booked with equally good views. The space The cabin was new in May 2025 and holds most of what is needed for a pleasant stay. The mini house has a double bed with a width of 160 cm, and is perfect for 2 people. You will arrive to a freshly made bed, and towels are also included. Inside the cabin there are 2 hobs, necessary kitchen utensils, kettle and coffee pot. The mini house has electricity, but not water. There are dispensers that can be refilled inside the shared kitchen in the basement of the farm shop. There is also access to a washing machine, shower and toilet. The barbecue/fire pit just outside the mini-house can also be freely used by our guests. Charcoal, firewood, lighter fluid and barbecue food can be purchased inside the farm shop. Breakfast basket: From September 1st it will be possible to order breakfast from Friday-Sunday with pick-up at 10 am A large rich basket with lots of good local food for both 1 and 2 people. The breakfast basket is ordered before closing time in the store the day before, or via the Airbnb app. The farm shop is open from Thursday-Sunday from 10:00-18:00 (From mid-June to the end of August we are open every day) Right next door is a sauna that is a must to test out along with a swim in the lake. This is booked separately via our own booking system on our website. Booking link is also sent by message before arrival. Please note that the tiny houses are located in connection with the motorhome parking/parking lot. In the summer season there will be activity in and around the entire area. Access to toilet and shower is shared between all the tiny houses and the sauna. For the 2025 season, we will expand the sanitary conditions. (If you want a place that is 100% private, we have 2 other slightly larger cabins for rent that can be recommended.) If you did not find availability on the desired date, check out one of our other tiny houses or cottages. Dirdal is a beautiful place at the innermost part of Høgsfjorden and is the perfect starting point for memorable hikes in the area. In addition, Dirdal is located in the middle of the famous trips to Preikestolen and Kjerag. It is about 50 km drive to Stavanger and only a few km to the beautiful Byrkjedal and Byrkjedalstunet. Guest access When renting with us, you will receive key cards to the basement in the store next door. Here you have access to a toilet, shower and a small kitchenette to wash up. (Common to all cabins) There is a washing machine, drying rack, and a sofa to relax a bit. In addition, there is also a microwave oven to be able to heat some food if there should be a need in addition to the hobs in the cabin. Other things to note The place also offers motorhome parking which means that there may be some motorhomes in the parking lot outside the cabins. The tiny houses are located below RV520 but traffic noise is rarely a problem.
