Vacation home south of Zingst in Dabitz The Baltic Sea Bay of Grabow - with the new pier at the idyllic marina - is about 400 m away. From the 200 m long pier you have an impressive panoramic view over the Baltic Sea Bay of Grabow. The picturesque bay of Grabow on the Baltic Sea is visible from the house. In clear weather you can see the island of Hiddensee. Boats can be admitted in the harbor (slipway), parking on the premises. Hiking and cycling trails (suitable for inline skaters) are well developed and run along the Baltic Sea bay (European circular hiking trail). Horseback riding and bike rental are available at the youth hostel near Glöwitz (2 km), inexpensive horseback riding in Barth-Planitz with a new riding hall. Shopping facilities are located directly in Barth with numerous supermarkets (bypass road). A DLRG-guarded swimming spot is located in Glöwitz. Water sports equipment can be rented at the local water sports center (with surf/kite/sailing school). From the jetty at the harbor you can get into the shallow water (good surf/kite conditions!). The fine sandy beaches of Zingst are about 20 minutes. There is also a wide range of leisure activities (e.g. go-kart rental, Zingster Kleinbahn, fishing parties, boat trips to the island of Hiddensee, lagoon tours, carriage rides, ...). In Stralsund (30 km), the Hanse Dom adventure pool and the Maritime Museum are highly recommended. Linens and towels are to be brought.
