It’s located roughly an hour away from Mussoorie, Rishikesh and Haridwar, making it perfect for travellers who want a quiet stay with easy access to Uttarakhand’s most loved attractions. Located just 10 minutes from the Dehradun Zoo, the cottage offers the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience, with popular eateries and well-known local attractions easily accessible from the property. Inside, you’ll find a cozy living space, a fully equipped kitchenette, air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi and a private balcony ideal for enjoying your morning coffee against the scenic backdrop. With its warm ambiance, privacy and homely comforts, Misty Shangri-la is perfect for couples, solo travellers or remote workers seeking a refreshing, tranquil getaway in a beautiful natural setting. Guest access Guest has access to the whole place. Other things to note -The property is equipped for light cooking only, using an induction cooktop. We kindly request guests to avoid heavy or elaborate cooking and to use the space thoughtfully. -Daily housekeeping is scheduled between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to provide housekeeping services outside of this time. -The owner lives in a separate home within the same premises, set away from the cottage. The cottage is completely private, so you’ll have your own independent space to enjoy. We’re available if you need any assistance, while fully respecting your privacy throughout your stay. -Guests are requested to submit soft copies of their ID proofs 2 days before arrival and show the hard copies of the ID proofs while checking in.⠀⠀⠀ -Let us know in case of early or late check-in, and we shall try our best to accommodate your needs based on our availability.⠀⠀⠀ -Our Experience Engineer will be in constant interaction with you throughout your stay. In case of any help/hassle, do reach out to us so we can help you or mitigate the problem before you check out. -Abusive or threatening behavior towards staff will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Guests who exhibit such behavior will be asked to leave immediately without a refund. - Please note we can’t allow check in after 9 pm -We kindly request guests to refrain from photography and from entering private areas, as these are not permitted. -Food is not included in the stay. We can provide simple, basic meals on an occasional basis, depending on availability. Guests are requested to inform us at least 12 hours in advance. All food requests will be charged separately. -Laundry can be arranged at ₹200 per wash. The caretaker will assist with the process. -If you're expecting any guests, kindly inform us in advance and request permission. If approved, please ensure you provide their ID details ahead of time. Overnight stays for unregistered visitors are not permitted.
