Welcome to Karibu! Discover a beautiful chalet with rustic urban charm located on the edge of Lac Clair in Saint-David-de-Falardeau. A perfect place to recharge your batteries, enjoy nature, play sports or just relax. The space The cottage is nestled on an expansive wooded lot and each room has stunning views of the lake and the forest. On the private beach, you'll enjoy the morning sun until sunset, with the added bonus of an outdoor fireplace for cozy evenings. True to its name, Lac Clair will seduce you with the clarity of its water and its sandy bottom, pleasant underfoot and ideal for swimming! The chalet has two terraces: one facing the lake, equipped with outdoor furniture and BBQ, perfect for alfresco dining; the other bathed in morning light, ideal for enjoying breakfast in a peaceful setting. Designed to accommodate 2 to 8 people, the chalet offers all the desired comforts. The open plan ground floor includes a large fully equipped kitchen, warm living room with wood-burning fireplace, TV and dining room. Two bedrooms are waiting for you, one with full bathroom. A baby room is also available to you. The basement houses two bedrooms, a second full bathroom with washer/dryer, as well as a dry sauna for a moment of ultimate relaxation. Summer or winter you can enjoy a multitude of activities to do near the Karibu chalet. The ski resort Le Valinouët, known for its 100% natural snow, is only a 15-minute drive away, as is the Monts-Valin National Park, offering a host of activities: the famous Valley of Ghosts, snowshoeing, hiking (including the Pic de la Tête de Chien) and much more. For snowmobile and quad bike enthusiasts, federated trails are accessible directly from the chalet (trail 328). Depending on the conditions, the lake will also allow you to practice cross-country skiing or skating. Just 1.5 km away, the walking trails of Montagne du Pin offer great views of Lake Clair. Kayaks are also available to explore the lake at your own pace. Don't miss the Distillerie du Fjord, located in the village of Saint-David-de-Falardeau, perfect for an aperitif tasting and the discovery of local products. For an incomparable relaxing experience, head to the Eternal Spa, a Scandinavian spa located in the heart of the alpine village of Valinouët. Finally, just 12 km from the chalet, the Falardeau Zoo will delight young and old with over 200 animal species to observe. Treat yourself to a memorable getaway.
