Atelierhaus Beckmann

Our charming, quiet, two-story cottage is 86 square meters and invites you to linger. It is only 400 meters from the historic market square, on the old city wall of Gengenbach overlooking the former monastery and the Kinzigturm. On the ground floor is located the kitchen with adjoining cozy living space. From there you step onto a terrace with garden. A large park area with sunbathing lawn, petting zoo and playground is in the immediate vicinity. The space The house includes one large bedroom with a 2 X 2 meter bed bed . It offers enough space for recreation , reading, and working. From both sides, the space is surrounded by gardens. Two more rooms are in the attic. They offer the option to retreat, read, or do smaller writing. One of the rooms has a gorgeous view of the countryside and the Kinigtorturm. The cozy light-filled living room has an integrated kitchen and a spacious dining area . The bathroom is equipped with a shower ,bath and toilet. From the living room you step onto a salvaged terrace with a garden piece. There you can sunbathe or enjoy the sunset. The kitchen is fully equipped. Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Electric stove and oven. Electric kettle , coffee maker and a toaster are provided . Guest access In the entrance area as well as in the kitchen and bathroom is underfloor heating. The ground floor is accessible . A Swedish stove invites you to relax and relax after your excursions (see photos) The property has a free parking space reserved for them and a covered bicycle storage facility. A high chair can be installed. Other things to note The tourist tax is per person (from 16 years) and night 2,30€, in the low season 1,70€. The tourist tax includes a cone card. A detailed plan for what the cone card applies. For example, she entitles you to the free train and bus rides in the area, for a free visit to the Gengenbach swimming pool, to visit several museums. The studio house Beckmann is wheelchair accessible on the first floor. The bathroom makes it difficult to get a wheelchair . There is no smoking inside the house (terrace with ashtray ). We do not want animals in the house, as we had several bad experience with the owners. No parties and events are allowed. The stairs to the upper floor are not toddlers. The small balcony on the first floor is for children under 6 years old, only accompanied by adults. It is lockable and can be secured. You are welcome to bring your slippers. The garden of the main house is not part of the use, not even the second parking space .(Villa Beckmann belonging ).
