Forge End Cottage is situated conveniently in the cobbled market place, you will be able to walk to the amenities in minutes and watch the race horses riding past on a morning. There are numerous scenic walks/bike routes from right outside the front door - suitable for all ages and abilities. Our favourite is along the River Cover, which is a 10 minute walk away with loads of paddling/wild swimming spots. Middleham playing fields, with a skate park and communal green area, is less than a 5 minute walk, as is the castle. The nearest pub, the Black Bull, can be reached in less than 10 steps!
