L’Agouadis is an enchanting family getaway in the heart of the Pyrenees. Before welcoming travelers, it was first a cowshed, then a crêperie and a restaurant. We later restored it into a holiday home designed for families, using noble materials while preserving the spirit of the original barn. Located in Aulus les bains , 20 minutes from the Guzet resort, it features a garden with private mini-golf, a barbecue area, and in winter, a wood-burning stove for cozy family evenings. The space 🌲 La Grange de l’Agouadis is located in Aulus-les-Bains, in a preserved natural setting, away from the bustle yet close to the village center. Its open garden, with no direct overlooking, invites you to fully enjoy the peace and surrounding nature. 🛋️ The ground floor features a spacious and welcoming living area with a wood-burning stove and an open kitchen equipped with a range cooker, perfect for sharing meals and moments together. 🌸 Bright and open onto the garden, the veranda offers an additional living space: board games, reading, relaxing, or family time, with a seamless connection to the outdoors. During the winter season, the veranda is not heated. 🛌 Upstairs, two comfortable bedrooms welcome families in a calm and restful atmosphere. One of them has direct access to the garden, ideal for stepping outside first thing in the morning. 🚿 Each bedroom has its own private shower room. Toilets are located on the ground floor, close to the living areas. 🪵 During winter, the house is mainly heated by a heat pump. The wood-burning stove is available as a cozy extra, with an initial basket of logs provided. 🛜 Wi-Fi and television are available. 🧺Easy, stress-free stay Bed linen, towels, and kitchen towels are provided. Beds are made on arrival, so you can settle in and enjoy right away. 🧹 End-of-stay cleaning is included in the price, for a smooth and hassle-free departure. If you prefer a personal welcome, this is of course possible—just let us know in advance. 📘 Welcome guide A detailed welcome guide will be sent to you three days before your arrival. It includes all the useful information you’ll need to settle in easily and enjoy the house from the moment you get there. 🚗 Parking Parking is available directly in front of the house. You can park your car in the designated space, just a few meters from the front door. ❄️ Winter access During the winter season, the house is generally accessible by car and the road leading to it is usually cleared of snow. As with any mountain stay, appropriate winter equipment (snow chains or snow tires) is recommended. Other things to note 🌿 An ideal base to enjoy the mountains in every season Comfortable and well equipped, the Grange is perfect for exploring the surroundings or simply slowing down and enjoying the peaceful setting. Outside peak periods, the mountains offer a rare luxury here: time to breathe and unwind. 🏡 The village center of Aulus-les-Bains is within walking distance. You’ll find a small grocery store (Vival) for everyday essentials. During school holidays and the high season, one restaurant is open in the village, and up to two depending on the period. 🥾 Several walks and hikes start directly from the house, including the famous Cascade d’Ars. Children will also enjoy the village playground, the treetop adventure park, and the mini-golf in the garden. ⛷️ In winter, the Guzet-Neige resort offers skiing as well as beautiful snowshoe walks, ideal for discovering the snowy landscapes at a gentle pace. ☀️ In summer, the resort turns into a real playground: a rail toboggan through the fir trees, downhill karting, mountain biking, panoramic hikes, and many activities for all ages (tennis, paragliding, laser biathlon, swimming pool, fishing, donkey rides…). 💧 For a relaxing break, the thermal spa of Aulus-les-Bains can be reached on foot from the house. 🚣‍♂️ Nature lovers will also enjoy the nearby lakes, including Lac de Bethmale and the Etang de l’Hers, perfect for a picnic surrounded by nature. 🧀 About 30 minutes by car, the market of Saint-Girons is a must-see every Saturday morning. Very well known, it is often considered one of the most beautiful markets in the region, attracting visitors with its local produce, crafts, and regional specialties.
