Lovely family home in Bakkum – near forest, beach & local fun Our spacious, recently renovated family home in Bakkum is available for rent! It’s child-friendly, fully equipped, and perfectly located for a relaxing holiday. Within walking distance of the forest and a short bike ride from the beach (with several car-free access points available), it's ideal for families who love nature, comfort and convenience. The space What to expect: Ground floor: Spacious open kitchen Bright and cozy living room Large playroom filled with toys First floor: Two spacious children's bedrooms, each with a bunk bed (sleeps 4 kids) One baby/toddler room with a crib Large bathroom with a bathtub and rain shower Second floor: Guest room with a double bed, crib, air conditioning and a workspace Master bedroom with a double bed and air conditioning Second large bathroom with rain shower and toilet Laundry room with washer and dryer Ground floor: Spacious open kitchen with large dining table Bright, cozy living room Large playroom full of toys Outdoor space: Front garden with seating area, sandbox and a large trampoline Backyard is not yet fully landscaped but spacious and can be used for dining or sitting outside. There is also a mud kitchen for children to play with (outside tap and water hose available). Perfect for families: Our house is fully set up for (young) children. You'll find plenty of toys (DUPLO, LEGO, books, games, baby toys), high chairs, baby bath, a playpen, and safety gates throughout the house. Comfort & climate: The house is well insulated and has underfloor heating with cooling, providing a comfortable indoor climate year-round. The top-floor bedrooms also have air conditioning. Direct surroundings: In front of our house is a green park with a small playground. The neighborhood is quiet with only local traffic, making it safe for children to play outside. The area Bakkum is a beautiful, green area. The forest is within walking distance, and the beach is within biking distance (there are also car-free entrances nearby). The famous campsites camping Bakkum and camping Geversduin are within biking distance and provide plenty of play oppertunities and great events. The village of Castricum is five minutes away and provides facilities such as bike rental, a rich diversity of shops and restaurants. Amsterdam or Haarlem are just 25 minutes away by train, and Alkmaar is a short bike ride. We're happy to share local tips, such as the best car free beach access points and nice places to visit, to make your stay even more enjoyable! Guest access You have access to the whole house and garden, including amenities such as the washer/dryer and other equipment. Other things to note Important booking information: Due to insurance requirements, we can only rent our house to two adults and/or one family (diverse family structures are of course welcome).
