Healing Sanctuary Cabin 10 acres small gym

This private mountain cabin was once owned by one of the Historic Bailey family members who are very famous in Julian, CA. It sits at 3350 feet approximately. There is Starlink internet & a playground. The standard setup is for five to max 8 guests with 2 Guests being in the master bedroom. There is an extra guest fee if more than four beds are set up & made ready. The are two floor cot beds which are placed in bedrooms 2 and 3. Two small children can sleep in the zen room with a full bed. The space There is a trail that goes around the ten acres you can walk, bike or run. There is also a labyrinth walk. There are two private patios. The small inside gym has a bike and a rowing machine. There are small weights and a yoga mat. The Space includes a four bedroom and 2 1/2 bath house. The first bedroom is the master with a private bathroom in the room and there is a queen size bed which sleeps two Guests. The second and third bedrooms each have one twin bed and the second bedroom can have a twin cot size bed in there (with an extra cost). The bedrooms are small. The fourth bedroom has a full bed for one and has a wood fireplace. It has a thin curtain and wood for a wall that looks like a "Zen Room" or a Japanese room. It is a not a real room. This Zen room is not sound proof. Anyone who sleeps in this room can maybe hear activity going on downstairs, so it helps if everyone goes to sleep at the same time or you can wear ear plugs or not be a light sleeper. There is a half bathroom downstairs. The space(s) is ultra-sanitized. Please let us know if you have any questions about our cleaning methods. The playground is shared with one other listing that is approximately 300 feet away. Dual pane windows mute the gentle hum of the two lane country highway about three hundred feet away. Traffic slows here because the posted speed limit is thirty five miles per hour. Guest access We offer self-check-in. Your hosts are available whenever you need them. The property/land is available to our other listing as well and it is shared. You are welcome in any part of the more than ten acres of the property! Julian is a registered "Dark Sky" community and the residences and businesses use very little light in order to see the stars and Julian, is one of the few places in the U.S.A. you can see the Milky Way. Because of this, it is very dark at night and there are no lights leading to the home. We encourage Guests to arrive early and get oriented. There is a telescope here to use which is available upon request. There are no events allowed, unless we confirm it. The gas clothes dryer is a full service one and it is $5.00 up to 50 minutes of drying time. The washing machine is self-service and it is free. Guests provide laundry soap, because laundry soap is not included. Other things to note When you first arrive at the property you will see a large house on the left. That is the main house you will be staying at. On one part of the property there exists an old abandoned highway that was abandoned in 1955. Children can bring their skateboards, scooters and bikes and have fun times there in addition to running around in the labyrinth or the Native Plant trail that goes around the property. There are also many boulders to climb on and sit on. There are gardeners who come and help garden now and then, respectful of the space around the house. The lamps in the house, including the bedrooms have red LED light bulbs in them. They are zero-blue light emitting light bulbs. Harvard University studies have shown that exposure to blue and green light after dark disrupts our sleep and increases our risk of type - 2 diabetes, depression, heart disease, anxiety and cancer. -Blue light has a dark side (2018). Retrieved from Harvard Health Publishing - Harvard Medical School. There are regular bulbs too. Two of the bedrooms are small. We have two cot beds made up in the smaller bedrooms if wanted. If that is done, then the folding tables are removed. Two small children can be in the zen room that has a full sized bed. The full size bed it too little for two adults. One bathroom upstairs in the hallway, that is painted light blue has a narrow hallway to get to the toilet. Please see all the photos for a visual of everything. The TV has a cord that plugs into most laptops, so you can watch your laptop things on the big screen. The piano is not in perfect tune. The telescope has never been used. All the parts and instructions are there and it needs to be programmed to a star, planet and/or moon at night time. The dishwasher is currently not listed as an amenity, because it is not working properly. Thank you!
