A clean, modern studio with hard floors throughout — easy on muddy paws — and a private outdoor living area with fire pit. The well-appointed kitchen has a beautiful Heath tile backsplash, air fryer, toaster, oven and cooktop, vitamix and basic condiments stocked. Outside, the BBQ with secondary cooktop is ready for market-fresh meals. The in-unit laundry room has a washer/dryer, iron, ironing board, steamer, and extra storage — plus a double closet with plenty of drawers and hangers. Handy for longer stays. Inside, a brand-new mini-split keeps the studio comfortable year-round, with a Tuft & Needle mattress, Brooklinen linens, and Turkish cotton towels finishing the comfort layer. Thoughtful for sensitive guests too: hard floors throughout (no carpet, just a few throw rugs), mattress encasement, and a HEPA air purifier running between stays. One honest caveat: dogs stay here often, so guests with serious pet allergies should keep that in mind. Lots of sun if you want it, or open the shade canopy for a warm breeze and gentle shade — perfect for reading, meditation, or a few rounds of sun salutations. Yoga mat and blocks provided. A quick note on the approach: the studio sits at the back of the property, down a steep driveway. That setback is exactly what makes it so quiet and private — just plan to carry belongings from the street, and small or senior dogs may need a hand on the slope. Other things to note The studio is tucked behind the main house, down a steep driveway. Plan to carry belongings down when you arrive — including groceries and anything you have shipped. A heads-up on deliveries: the property has a single street address (the main house), so all packages and food orders arrive there. Please be mindful before ordering anything heavy or bulky during your stay — past packages have blocked the main house walkway and need to be carried down to the studio. For food delivery, meet the driver at the top of the driveway; they won't know to come around back, and bell-rings at the main house which breaks the zen for all guests. Long-term stays (30+ days) include a housekeeping cleaning every 30 days, built into the fees. One well-behaved dog under 60lbs is welcome! Please contact us directly if your request falls outside those parameters. Dogs must not be reactive and may not be left alone in the space. There are other pets on the property. We do ask guests to be respectful of neighboring spaces and quiet hours.
