This lovingly (mostly) restored country home sits in peaceful Ör, a short drive from Växjö in the green heart of Småland. Inside it’s bright and freshly renovated; outside it keeps all the character of a genuine old Swedish cabin — the kind of place where the kids roam the garden while the coffee brews. There’s comfortable room for six across two bedrooms — a spacious main bedroom and a second with a double bed — plus a well-equipped kitchen, washing machine, fast Wi-Fi and free parking on-site, so longer family stays are easy and unhurried. Perfect for families: the garden has a children’s playground and a box of toys, with beaches, swimming and more play areas just minutes away. Lovely for couples: a quiet, unplugged base with forest walks and lakeside fika within easy reach. Made for explorers: you’re ideally placed to roam all of Småland. One small wardrobe in the second bedroom is reserved for the host’s personal storage; everything else in the house is yours to enjoy. Other things to note Before you go: we just ask that you start the dishwasher, take out the rubbish, and leave the cabin roughly as you found it. Follow this simple checklist and there’s no extra charge — if it’s skipped, a cleaning fee applies. One thing to note: the fireplaces are decorative and not currently in use — please don’t light them. Everything else in the cabin is yours to enjoy.
