The Conductor's Cottage, escape to Waterval Onder

The Conductors' Cottage is a converted railway house that offers beautifully furnished accommodation for up to six guests. Set in the grounds of the main farmhouse, there are three cottages in total. The Conductor's Cottage has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, lounge & outside deck area to enjoy. There are views of the hills of Mpumalanga Province as you sit on the verandah. We are a working farm with resident sheep, geese & pigs. We also have four boxer dogs that are part of the family The space All our cottages are set in the grounds of our main farmhouse here in Waterval Onder. They have been lovingly restored and are well-furnished with a mix of modern beds and antique pieces from all over South Africa and Swaziland. A perfect stop off en-route to Kruger National Park or for visiting the nearby Sudwala Caves & Lowveld Escarpment or simply a relaxing weekend escape from the city. We are a working farm with lots of animals to enjoy including a pet pigs called Charlotte and Lulu. Four boxer dogs and our own herd of sheep . Please note that we are located 75km from Dullstroom. We will leave you tea, coffee, sugar, milk & rusks so you have the basics to start the day. We can also supply cooked evening meals or food to braai on request. Please ask when you make an enquiry with us. We have three guest houses in total in the grounds so if you are a party of more than 6, please look for The Stationmaster's House on Airbnb. Guest access You have full access and use of the cottage. The verandah is also yours to enjoy and is huge. It is shared with The Stationmaster's House (if occupied) which is also for six guests. Please ask if you would like to meet our animals or walk round the main house gardens. Other things to note Please note that we have lots of animals including four boxer dogs.
