Stunning sunsets. The space The house: Our loft is in a converted silk factory with stone walls and renovated interior, is fully furnished and fully equipped. Spacious living-room-dining room-kitchen (gas stove) fills the first floor with tall west-facing door windows, beautiful light, and astonishing sunsets. The kitchen area has a large square high table for drinks and informal meals, dishwasher and all kitchen items. An additional rear kitchen is attached with all appliances (American sized fridge, microwave, additional electric stove, two-compartment sink, washer-dryer set). The main room includes a second dinning area (10 seats), a huge working fireplace for winter evenings around the fire, a lounge area, 2 bedrooms (king and queen size beds), 2 bathrooms. The second floor reaches the mezzanine, 1 master bedroom with en suite bathroom, 1 independent bathroom, and the TV area (sofa bed). Yoga, gym, and river equipment available. Private parking in front of the house (1 car) in a protected courtyard. Smoking not allowed inside the house, allowed outside on the terrace. Wifi access to internet in all areas. Location: The house is located in the charming village of Saint Bauzille de Putois, a classic Languedoc village at the entrance to the Cevennes National Park, 3 mn walk to the river and its beaches, various village restaurants and facilities (pharmacy, bakery, butcher, small grocery store), 10 mn drive from the nearest town of GANGES with major grocery stores and local farmers’ markets. - North: 60 mn from MONT AIGOUAL, the highest mountains in the region, deep into the Cevennes country - South: 45 minutes from MONTPELLIER (train station and airport), 60 mn from the mediterranean cost and its beautiful beaches - East: 60 mn from NÎMES, 75 mn from the PONT DU GARD Unesco World Heritage site, 4 hours from ITALY - West: 2,5 hours from the fortified city of CARCASSONNE, another Unesco World Heritage site, 3:30 hours from TOULOUSE, 3 hours from SPAIN The must do list includes: The high season is summer, when guests can enjoy swimming and kayaking in the Herault river, lounging in the small, private pool on the terrace with BBQ and river views; the region is famous for hiking and rock climbing, fishing, sightseeing cascades, Grotte de Demoiselles, via ferrata, paragliding, wine tasting at the local vineyard of international seller Sauzet...
