Unique room in private home

You are welcome to stay in my home. You will have a spacious double room with private shower (no bath) in hammam style and copper sinks. I will be happy to share my living room, kitchen and terrace with you. You can indicate in advance whether you want breakfast and whether you will join us for dinner. The dike house is located on the Waal and from the terrace you have a magnificent view over the river, Zaltbommel and the bridge. Within a few seconds, you will be standing on the river bank. The space In good weather, you can enjoy the view on the terrace. You are also welcome to join me at the long table in the kitchen while I cook for you or to relax in the living room with a cup of tea. You will be staying in my private home, where I live myself. If you are very attached to privacy, this is not what you are looking for. Guest access You get a bedroom with a private shower. From the bed, you can use a smart TV on which you can stream (via your mobile) programs such as Netflix. My personal belongings are in the cupboards. If you need anything, I'd appreciate it if you asked. You are welcome in my living room, kitchen and terrace, but I don't like it when you use my kitchen. My own bedroom is upstairs on the other side of the same floor. We share the toilet. My house is unsuitable for people with walking difficulties. It is a dike house and has many different levels with steps and stairs. The bed is also only accessible with a ladder. During your stay I travel a lot and one of the valuable aspects of this is the range of encounters with locals and other travelers. By opening up my home, I hope to have that diversity of conversations at home as well. I enjoy cooking for you and chatting with you during dinner. Of course, you can withdraw if you need to. If you don't want to eat with me, that's fine too. However, if you are purely looking for a hotel room and privacy, I would prefer you to book another accommodation. Other things to note I like it when you eat with me. You can indicate in advance what you prefer not to eat, and I will take that into account. Vegan, gluten-free, for example no raisins or coriander. Anything is possible, as long as I know a day in advance. I love to cook and enjoy trying out new recipes. I charge €15 pp excluding drinks. If you want anything other than water/tea with your food, please let me know. Would you like breakfast? Can you tell me what you'd like to eat? Yogurt with muesli and fruit? Maybe bread and a croissant? I can also make you an omelet or an egg. For €7.50 pp, I'll make sure you can start a good day. No breakfast and just a cup of coffee/tea is also fine, of course. The room is only available for a one-night stay. You can check in between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. and you check out before 10:00 a.m. the next morning. Please indicate when you expect to arrive so that I can be there to open the door for you. The bathtub in the bedroom cannot be used. There are cracks in the tadelakt. There is no smoking in my house. I've been renting this room recently, and I'm sure I've forgotten to mention everything. If you have any questions, I'd love to answer them.
