Unique nature experience on the water Surrounded by nature, overlooking the water-rich peatland area where silence, birdsong and the rustling of reeds set the tone. Next to the Tjalk is a private terrace with garden. The sanitary facilities are housed in a beautifully converted, large wine barrel – completely in style with the natural elements. Here you will find a comfortable shower and a toilet, surprisingly spacious and unique in experience. There is 1 toilet in the Tjalk itself. The space The Tjalk Our cozy boat has the following interior dimensions: Height: 1.75 m in the middle, Width: 2.04 m Length: 7.90 m There is a double bed where you sleep with your feet under the deck (with 39 cm of space), while the rest of your body has full space. On board you will also find: - 4-burner gas stove - fridge with a small freezer compartment - Small flat-screen TV - Bluetooth soundbar - Toilet Cold water (via the water tank of the tjalk, which makes this water not drinkable, but there is a can filled with water that is drinkable) 🚿 Sanitary facilities The main plumbing is located outside the tjalk, in a converted and heated wine barrel. Here you will find: - shower - sink - Towels and washcloths - Toilet Of course, hot and cold water are available here, so you can shower and freshen up comfortably. This water comes directly from the tap and is drinkable. 🚗 Accessibility The tjalk is moored to our own private property, where there is ample parking. Would you prefer to come by public transport? Please let us know in advance – we also offer a pick-up service. Guest access As a guest of Bed in Boot Jisperveld, you have access to: The entire tjalk with its private garden The main sanitary building with all facilities Free parking for your own car(s) on the premises Please note: The other parts of the property – including the meadows and the areas where our horses are located – are private. We kindly ask you to respect these zones unless otherwise agreed. Still want to make a fire, for example, sit among the horses on the grounds themselves or even on the land in nature? In many cases this is possible, but always in consultation (preferably in advance), so that together we can ensure safety and peace – also for the animals. Want to prepare something that needs an oven? An oven is available in "The Cove" (our special 'events room'). This is not accessible by default, but on request we can see together if and when you can use it. We love open and honest communication, so please let us know if there is anything you would like to do or use. A lot is possible – if we coordinate it together.
