The Metato of Borgo Toggiano
The Metato of Borgo Toggiano
Description
Borgo Toggiano tells us the story of the peasant past of the Modena mountains. It is a rural settlement that dates back to the 1800s, consisting of distinct buildings that were used for residence and peasant work. Two centuries later, it was the object of a recovery by local artisans and stonemasons, who brought to light the stones with which these buildings were built. Now it is ready to offer an experience of charm and elegance immersed in the countryside. The space The village is a rural settlement within a farm of 4 hectares of meadows and woods. It consists of three independent buildings with a garden: the metato, the farmers' house and the barn. Stone and wood are the dominant elements of the village today as they were two centuries ago, thanks to the work of skilled hands, who have been able to preserve the ancient art of the stonemason and the carpenter. On the ground floor of the metato are the living room, kitchen and a bathroom. On the first floor there is the bedroom and the bathroom. From the windows you can enjoy the spectacle of nature, you can be "disturbed" by the barking of the roe deer or the roar of the deer, habitual companions of the quiet of the village. Guest access The metato is surrounded by the garden, where you can enjoy the surrounding nature. The green of the oaks and chestnuts and the silence will lull you. Other things to note Linen change upon request, cost 20 euros. Registration Details IT036029C2RV5I7GII
