Spacious two- bedroom period cottage The space Fern House is a charming Grade II cottage which has been lovingly restored to create the ultimate comfortable retreat. Refurbished to the highest quality, this spacious home retains many charming quirks from its centuries-old history. Vintage finds are blended with original art works and the best of modern design to complement the unique character of this village home. The two bedrooms have King / Super-King beds fitted with Vi-Spring mattresses and the en-suite marble bathrooms both have rainfall showers (one also has a bath). The romantic front bedroom offers a view of the pretty village church, whilst the rear bedroom, which was once an artist's studio opens directly on to the patio garden. Downstairs, the wood-panelled living room offers plenty of comfortable seating, a log burner, cocktail trolley, smart TV and a cupboard packed with board games and puzzles. The dining room walls are lined with books and a washing machine and dryer are cleverly hidden inside a laundry cupboard. The large kitchen has a Smeg electric range with induction hob, Smeg fridge-freezer, Nespresso machine, dishwasher, toaster and microwave. There is an additional cloakroom on the ground floor and a pretty courtyard garden to the rear with table and chairs. Sleeps 4. Unfortunately, no pets allowed.
