Enjoy a king bed with linen sheets in an air-conditioned bedroom. Sip afternoon drinks on the balcony with peaceful views to the hills - the perfect way to unwind after a day exploring beaches, rail trails, hinterland towns, waterfalls, Lismore street art, & gems like Byron Bay, Ballina, and Nimbin. The space Your private bedroom is at the front of the house on a quiet, no-through road, offering a tranquil retreat with a king-size bed made up with soft linen sheets. The room is air-conditioned, and you'll also have a TV, a dresser, and hanging space. Just across the hall is the shared bathroom for showering, I use my own toilet downstairs. You’ll wake to the sound of birdsong from the 100-year-old Moreton Bay fig tree across the road — a lovely way to start the day. The rest of the house is yours to enjoy. You’ll have access to the shared kitchen, dining and lounge areas, where you can settle in and feel right at home. There’s Wi-Fi throughout, and a washer and dryer are available on request. A hairdryer and straightener are also on hand for your convenience. There are several balconies and decks around the home, offering peaceful views to the surrounding hills — perfect for enjoying a drink in the afternoon or catching a stunning sunset. The outdoor area also features hanging chairs and a BBQ with an outdoor dining setting, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. A yoga mat and meditation cushions are available if you’d like to stretch out or unwind. And for those here to ride the Rail Trail, secure bike storage is available. Please note that breakfast and meals are not included in your stay. The nightly rate covers accommodation only, helping to keep things simple and affordable. While I share my home with pets, the front yard is separated if you prefer a space away from the animals. Just a courtesy note — for safety and privacy, only paying guests are allowed on the property during your stay. From here, you’re perfectly placed to explore the Northern Rivers region. The Lismore to Casino Rail Trail is right on your doorstep, and within a short drive you’ll find koala spotting opportunities, waterfalls, national parks, swimming holes, and some of our region’s most loved towns and beaches. Nimbin is just 30 minutes away, Ballina and its beaches are 35 minutes, Byron Bay is 45 minutes, and the Gold Coast is around 1.5 hours. I’ll be onsite throughout your stay and happy to help if needed — or give you as much space as you like. Quiet, respectful guests are always welcome.
