Off-grid cabin in the forests of northern Skåne with wind protection

Relax in this small, unique and quiet home in the middle of the forest in Strandböke, Västra Torup -without neighbors. Here you come because you want to be close to nature and yourselves. Without electricity, you live freely and simply, in harmony with the animals and nature. The brave are welcome up in the lookout tower that stands in the magical orchard! If you want to escape the community's stress and constant hunting for a while, this is the cabin for you. New for 2026 are an outdoor shower, a sink area, and a new windscreen by the fireplace. The space Fresh and cozy cottage on a fantastic forest plot with, among other things, lookout tower and orchard! The cottage consists of a single room of about 15 m2 with sleeping loft. There is a fireplace and 1 full wood basket is included. It is important to provide fresh air when you burn because it is a small cabin without ventilation. For example, by having a window open. In the sleeping loft you can sleep 2 people. The bed size is 140 x 200 cm but feels a little smaller due to the sloping ceiling. There is also a sofa/bed for 1 person. Bedding is brought by guest. Mosquito windows are available. The cabin has neither electricity nor water 🏡, but there is an outdoor shower, a place to wash dishes, and a cozy wind shelter by the open fire 🔥. There are battery operated string lights in the cabin and on the outhouse. In addition to that lighting, there are also kerosene lamps available. Most of what you may need in the tool shed is in the cottage. If there is anything missing, we would like to know so we can complete it 😊🙏🏼 New fresh outdoor toilet. It is important to sprinkle a scoop of ash and a scoop of sawdust (in that order) after you have done your needs to keep the toilet fresh! 😊 Guest access You as guests are free to use all spaces. There is a fenced orchard with two entrances/exits. They should always be closed so wild animals do not get in and eat our trees and bushes 😊🙏🏼 You are welcome up in the tower inside the orchard if you dare 😉 Unless there is a fire ban, it is allowed to have a fire in the fireplace. Always have water ready. It's our well that's a bit down from the cabin and there it's okay to pump up water to the water cans. Other things to note The cottage does not have an address. When booking, you will receive coordinates. There is a wire tense across the road that leads to the cabin. When booking, you'll get info on how to open it. There is a nice big parking at the cabin. It is important to keep in mind: there is no electricity and no water in the cabin. The cabin is OFF-GRID 😃 It's okay with a dog but we don't want it to be in the bed. The bed in the sleeping loft is 140 cm (55 inches) wide, but it feels a bit narrower because of the sloping ceiling. There's also a single bed on the ground floor. Here you come to relax and enjoy nature. It is important that you sprinkle a whole scoop of ash and a whole scoop of sawdust after you have done your needs on the outdoor toilet - every time🙂🙏🏼, we will keep it fresh!
