Nestled in the rolling hills of the Brohmer and Helpter Berge bird sanctuary and the Klepelshagen nature reserve lies Gut Neuensund – a baroque estate dating back to 1780. Just 1.5 hours from Berlin, you’ll find absolute tranquility, historic buildings, a beautiful swimming lake, and unspoiled nature. You’ll stay in the east wing of the former inspector’s house, part of a U-shaped estate that encloses a 4,500 sqm courtyard and spans 8 hectares of land. The space The east wing of the inspector’s house at Gut Neuensund offers three bedrooms, one bathroom, and a private entrance. Rooms 2 and 3 are connected, making the space ideal for a couple with children or for friends who don’t mind a walk-through room. Room 1 offers the option of an extra bed for one additional person. You’ll share a spacious bathroom with a bathtub. In addition to your private area, you’ll have access to the large shared kitchen, which is used jointly with the west wing apartment and a separate double room. The kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for cooking and dining together. Towels, bed linen, and toiletries are provided. All rooms are equipped with traditional tiled stoves, creating a cozy and warm atmosphere on cooler days. Right next to the house, you’ll find a wood-fired outdoor sauna, which can be used for an additional fee. Breakfast and catering are available on request. In our small farm shop in the former cider house, you can purchase regional products and drinks. The baroque estate grounds cover a total of eight hectares and are open for you to enjoy: a 4,500 sqm courtyard with various seating areas, the historic Lenné park behind the manor house, a barbecue area, and a fire pit with wood and charcoal provided on-site. A local contact person is available at any time should you have questions or need assistance. For retreats, seminars, off-sites, or events, the large historic granary can be rented. It offers space for up to 150 guests and is equally well-suited for smaller groups. Just 1.2 km from the estate lies Schmiedegrundsee – a beautiful swimming lake with a dock. Hiking trails begin right at the property, leading through the surrounding nature reserve. The Szczecin Lagoon and the town of Ueckermünde are just 30 minutes away by car, as are many opportunities for birdwatching and nature exploration. Other things to note High-speed internet is available via a fiber-optic connection. Parking is free of charge. Your dog is welcome to join you in our dog-friendly apartment for a €20 pet fee per stay. Please note that dogs must be kept on a leash while on the estate grounds.
