Frequently Asked Questions: Yes, there is a great grill available. The large swimming pool is heated with solar panels and a gas boiler. The boiler is essential in winter and costs P500–1,800 per use, depending on outside and desired pool temperature. Up to 2 pets are welcome (no pets in the pool, on beds or sofas). Written approval required for more. Fast WiFi (Infinitum) – suitable for working from home. Power outages are rare but possible. The caretaker can run errands in Malinalco (P100) or Tenancingo/Chedraui (P300, using our pickup). You may hire staff from an approved list (approx. P500/day). The house is in the countryside, 5 minutes from Malinalco. Expect some insects, spiders, or a stray dog—if this worries you, the house may not be the best fit. No parties or weddings allowed. You may receive up to 10 daytime guests. No outdoor music after 10 p.m. Check-in: 3 p.m. | Check-out: 12 p.m. – We offer flexibility if there are no adjacent bookings. We’ll confirm 3 days before arrival. Oscar, the caretaker, will check in a couple of times daily to maintain the pool. If you need total privacy, this may not be the right place. About the House: This is a tastefully decorated small weekend home on the outskirts of Malinalco, with a large pool designed by interior decorator Tatiana Barbara. The house is garden-integrated, featuring a spacious terrace with an open kitchen and living area. It sits next to Casa Los Ángeles (same owner) but has its own entrance and complete privacy. Both homes can be rented together. Sound systems are not permitted. If brought, they will be respectfully held during your stay. Guest access You’ll have access to the entire property and its 3,000 m² garden. The house is located next to Casa Los Ángeles (owned by the same person), but it has its own private entrance and is completely independent—each garden is separate. Both houses can be rented together if needed. Other things to note Number of Guests The number of guests registered in the reservation must match the actual number of guests staying at the property, as this helps us ensure your comfort, safety, and the proper maintenance of the accommodation. If the number of guests exceeds what is indicated in the reservation, an additional charge will apply per extra guest, including children (children over 2 years old are considered guests). We appreciate your understanding. Visitors Visitors are welcome from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. To ensure a comfortable and well-attended stay, in some cases it may be necessary to arrange additional service staff. Up to 6 visitors are allowed; we kindly appreciate your support in respecting this schedule. If your group is larger, it will be our pleasure to assist you with accommodation options in our villas or nearby hotels. Staff service not included If you need cleaning services during your stay (by the hour or full day), I can arrange for a maid, payable directly at modest market rates (typically MXN 600 for a full day). Please note: The Airbnb cleaning fee only covers cleaning after your departure and does not include any service during your stay. The swimming pool is heated by solar panels. During colder winter months, we recommend using the gas boiler heat booster for added comfort. This service costs between P500–1500/day, payable directly to Oscar, who manages the pool. Check-in and check-out times are flexible depending on whether new guests are arriving the same day. Please check in advance. On weekends outside of the holiday season, late check-outs are usually possible, but must be confirmed in writing.
