Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun! On 2.7 acres of land, there is a lot of peace and quiet with the lake just steps away. Bring your boat if you wish, swim off the dock, jump in a kayak or canoe, or grab a fishing pole to enjoy your time relaxing at this peaceful retreat. When you are done, go sit around the firepit, or just relax on the large back deck. With 7 beds, our home sleeps 10 comfortably. There's plenty of space for everyone! The space Our home has 5 bedrooms. Three rooms with King beds, and two bedrooms with 2 twins in each (one is bunkbed, the other is separate twins). Each king bedroom has its own TV, as well as the room with 2 single beds. The living room has a large sectional sofa with 2 recliners built in, and a chair, all surrounding a very large Smart TV. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, silverware, cups, plates, crockpot, and all of your cooking needs. There is a Keurig/pot coffee maker combination, as well as a blender for those summer refreshing drinks! There are cards and games if you want to turn off the electronics for good family fun. There is a washer and dryer for your use while you are there. You don't need to bring any linens, as we provide sheets and towels, as well as swimming towels. The backyard is fenced, which is perfect for small children. There is a comfortable front porch to sit on, as well as a very large back deck with a large propane grill. You can sip your coffee, and look through the woods to see the waterfront. There is also a firepit with six chairs for summer smores making (Please abide by NC laws for fire burning due to recent wildfires.). There are canoes and kayaks for your stay, along with lifejackets. (Note: Renters assume their own risk! We are not responsible for accidents or negligence.) We also have a few fishing poles for use. There is a dock with ladder for swimming and boat docking. You can bring your own boat. (boat launch is approximately 5 minutes away and is free). The lake is a quick walk from the house down a groomed path (approximately a 3-minute walk). There are carts for use to bring all of your towels, food etc. to the dock/swim area. Also note: No pets, and no loud parties will be tolerated. Please enjoy the house respectfully, we do like our neighbors! Guest access Guests may use the entire property. Other things to note Our house is surrounded by woods, and you may encounter mosquito's, bugs, ticks, snakes, rabbits, and deer, etc. We do spray for bugs / ticks.
