Redfish Pet Friendly Airstream

Welcome to Redfish, one of four Airstreams residing on the coast of Matagorda. Our cozy Airstream features all the comforts of home with a camping atmosphere. Exterior features include a large outdoor seating area with string lights, propane gas grill and picnic table. Interior features include one queen bed and couch, restroom with shower and kitchen with cookware and dinnerware. The space This Airstream is located at LCRA Parks’ Matagorda Bay Nature Park, a 1,334-acre park where the Colorado River meets the Gulf of Mexico. This park offers a variety of outdoor activities including educational classes, mini golf, beachcombing, wildlife viewing and watercraft rentals. The park also provides beautiful wetlands for those who kayak and gives ample opportunities for fishing. The Matagorda coast gives customers a secluded beach for families to make lasting memories. Other overnight accommodations for visitors to enjoy include beach bungalows and waterfront RV camping. If you’re looking for a place to gather during your stay, our rentable Redfish Hall is the perfect spot to host a meeting or special event up to 99 people. Other things to note Other Details to Note: ACCESS: Upon arrival at Matagorda Bay Nature Park, please go to the Welcome Center to check-in (during normal business hours) and you will be given instructions to your Airstream.  PARKING: Only one parking space is available at Redfish, but there is additional parking throughout the park. PETS: This Airstream is pet friendly! Specific rules and pet fee apply with a maximum of two pets per stay. WATERCRAFTS: One kayak rental (up to 24 hours) is included with your reservation. Additional kayaks (both single and tandem) are available for rent on-site at the gift shop. RESERVATION: Our Airstreams require a two-night minimum with a maximum occupancy of four. Park entrance fees are included in your reservation purchase.
