Welcome to April Cottage, a delightful Grade II-listed home in the beautiful Oxfordshire village of Aynho that dates back to the early 1800s. Sleeping four in two bedrooms, it’s a charming option for families and friends, with thoughtful interiors, cosy home touches, and an abundance of countryside to explore from the doorstep. The space Kitchen, Living & Dining Areas: Wooden beams and a neutral palette define the light, welcoming living area. Comfy sofas are set around the wood burner – a must-have for dark, wintry evenings – with a spacious dining area playing host to home-cooked feasts. The kitchen is fitted with modern appliances and rustic touches, complementing the cosy, countryside setting. Upstairs: April Cottage has two double bedrooms, both of which have been lovingly decorated. Once again, original wooden beams enhance the house’s history, while warm tones and soft furnishings amp up the comfort. There is a bath with an overhead shower, as well as a separate shower room, both carefully designed and finished with modern touches. A separate study is set up should you need a quiet space for remote work or life admin. Outside: When the weather allows, guests can enjoy the property’s outside areas. There is a terrace complete with table and chairs for al-fresco meals, an outdoor sofa set, and a gravel area with a fire pit – a real boost for colder days and evenings.
