Welcome to our charming home, where old-world charm meets modern comfort. A warm and characterful place that will welcome you on vacation with family or friends. Venerque is a charming village on the banks of the Ariège River, ideal for a peaceful getaway while remaining close to Toulouse. Located in the center of the village, you have walking distance to all shops. The house is spacious and cozy, with four bedrooms and a large, private garden. The space On the ground floor, the house features a large kitchen overlooking the garden. It opens onto the dining and living areas. 1 bedroom on the ground floor, which serves as a TV/games room: 16m², with a double sofa bed. 1 toilet. 1 cloakroom area 1 laundry area Upstairs, there are 3 spacious bedrooms. Bedroom 1: 1 double bed (160cm) + en-suite bathroom with toilet. (28m²) Bedroom 2: 1 double bed (140cm), garden view Bedroom 3: 1 single bed (90cm) + 1 double sofa bed (120cm) (perfect for children or 2 adults who love each other!) There are 2 additional mattresses available. 1 bathroom with shower and toilet The large garden offers 2,500 m² for frolicking, kicking a ball, or relaxing under the chestnut trees. The outbuilding shelters you from the sun or rain while you sip an aperitif. You'll find a foosball table, darts, a barbecue, and more. Guest access You have access to the entire property except for the cellar. This is our main house, a haven we deeply cherish. Everyone who stays here feels at home. It's a lively, warm, and pleasant place to be. You'll find our everyday belongings there, a testament to the life of this house. We therefore thank you for treating them with care and kindness. We are not hoteliers, just hosts happy to welcome you, so a little indulgence would always be appreciated if you notice any inconvenience. We will do our best to rectify it. In the village, everything is within walking distance: Discover the village center and its Saint-Pierre church, a historic gem. Stroll through the local market and taste local products. Every Thursday morning and Friday evening. Enjoy the "La Gourmette" Guinguette for a gourmet break by the water. Open Thursday to Sunday in summer only. Bring your pétanque balls! Have a picnic or cool off on the banks of the Ariège River. A 10-minute walk across the bridge leads to a large, grassy, shaded area. Swimming is pleasant and easy, but be careful, it's not supervised. There are plenty of games for children of all ages. (Bring your water shoes.) For a meal or a drink, Venerque has something for everyone, all within walking distance. **Ô Bon Vivre** This friendly, family-friendly café-restaurant, located in the heart of Venerque, serves fast food all day long. The perfect place to eat or have a drink at any time. Open Monday to Saturday from 7am. **La Plage** A former 1950s open-air café, this traditional restaurant is located on the banks of the Ariège River. It offers a large shaded terrace for enjoying grilled fish and meat in summer, and simmered dishes in a warm atmosphere in winter. **Le Patachon** This bar-restaurant emphasizes fresh, local produce. **La Villa Méditerranéenne** This restaurant offers royal couscous, tagines, and other Moroccan and Mediterranean gastronomic specialties in an exceptional waterfront setting. **Pizza di Carmela** Delicious artisanal pizzas made in the Italian tradition. Please note: they do not accept credit cards. **Sushi Hotaké** An excellent Japanese restaurant, offering sushi, maki, and sashimi to eat in or take away. Open every day except Monday. For activities: **Venerque Eaux-Vives** Canoe and kayak club. Open daily for excursions. It also offers summer courses for children. **BMX** The cycling club's BMX track is freely accessible for you to enjoy the moguls and organize your own family races. It is located right next to the canoe club. A children's playground enhances this area. **Les Ecuries du Vernet** Equestrian center in the neighboring village of Le Vernet. (15-minute walk or 5-minute drive). Rides every day and courses for children are available depending on the dates. **Hiking** Several hikes start from the village, which can be found on the town hall website under the Leisure section. **Shops** The village has all the local shops you need.
