The space Two storey villa (unit #9), on the left edge of 'Villas on Great Bay' complex, directly on the beach of Philipsburg, the capital of dutch St.Maarten. Being the side villa it offers more privacy and tranquillity. On the ground floor: terrace on the beach with wooden floor, a lanai to enjoy meals and drinks in front of the ocean and a shady small side garden with outdoor shower (it's the only villa of the complex so featured); inside there's a spacious living room with sofas and armchairs, flat LCD TV, a dining space with table and chairs. A new queen sofa bed adds 2 sleeping places. Finally there is kitchen completely equipped and one half bathroom. On the upper floor: one ocean bedroom (queen bed) with private deck over the beach, one garden bedroom (king bed, ocean side view), each one with its luxury en-suite full bathroom recently renovated. Each room is equipped with cable Tv, ceiling fans and separately air-conditioned. Linen, towels and beach towels are provided. The common areas of the complex include an infinity pool sorrounded by long chairs, a breezeway sitting area and a lush tropical garden. Walter, our on-site property manager is ready to provide assistance, recommendations, rent a car, directions. Surroundings: The Villas on Great Bay complex is on the west side of Great Bay Beach. Few steps away you can find shops, fine restaurant and casinos. All these in the newly renovated areas of Front Street, and the new 'Promenade', the beach boardwalk. In addition, St. Maartin island features 37 wonderful different beaches, both in French and Dutch side. 20' boat from Anguilla Island and 40' from St. Barth with daily round trip excursions.
