The Longère des Daubénys

Welcome to this little corner of nature! Located in a very small hamlet, very close to Joigny and 5 km from the motorway exit, this house is ideal for family holidays or weekends in the countryside. The space Built in the last century, this house is a typical farmhouse of the region, which is called a "farmhouse". With its exposed beams, terracotta tiles and brick window surrounds, it has all the Burgundian charm, just a few kilometres from Paris (barely 150 km). With its three bedrooms, it can accommodate up to 6 people. It consists of two levels. On the ground floor you will find a large kitchen, which, as in all French farmhouses of the twentieth century, serves as the dining room. Far from today's fitted kitchens, this room retains all the charm of yesteryear with its gas stove and decorative fireplace. You will also enjoy a large living room with wood stove and its television on which the children can watch their DVD. The television is also connected to the Internet: you will have access to all French channels and your streaming platforms. A double bedroom will welcome guests who prefer to avoid stairs. Upstairs, you will have three bedrooms: one bedroom with a double bed and two bedrooms with a single bed. The whole is very comfortable, with spacious and warm rooms. Guest access You will have access to the whole house. On the other hand, we ask you not to go to the barn (part located in the extension of the house). Other things to note The property is fenced (wire mesh): we can therefore accept a dog (provided that it does not scratch under the fence). The house is equipped with a sofa bed: it can, on express request, be used by 2 additional children, bringing the capacity to a maximum of 8 people. In addition, we provide a small tent for children who would like to camp in the garden. The chimney is equipped with a wood stove: the wood is supplied. However, please note that towels and household linen in general (apart from sheets) are not provided: you must bring them.
