Originally the Church’s barn, dating back to the 1600s, with its beautiful walled garden used to process and store a tenth of the farmers produce as a stipend to the Rector. Offering unique charm of what was one of the earliest barn conversions in Great Britain set in the conservation area in the heart of Headley, Hampshire bordering Surrey and West Sussex. The space “The East Wing” is an attached self-contained Annex to the Main Barn. It has its own private access through the garage. With c. 100sqm of generous accomodation for up to 4 people (couple in one double and two further shared in two single beds) you can relax in different spaces to enhance your stay. Enjoy the large living room (c. 40 sqm) with 48" OLED Smart TV with stunning views of the front garden and views over the main barn. From living room there is a landing area to enjoy the views of intersection of the East wing to the original barn ... a great spot to oversee all activities in the kitchen/diner or indulge in a book ... check out the rustic beauty of a 16 c. oak framed building on local hampshire stone. Drop down the stairs to the kitchen/diner (c. 20sqm) on limestone tiled floor where the full rustic charm of the stone and wood structure is all around. Note: this is where your fury pet friends are invited to stay (see “Other details to note” section) The kitchen itself is a compact well formed "L" with belfast sink, Bosch dishwasher, Zanussi freestanding two oven, four induction hob cooker with extractor hood above and a retro Smeg fridge freezer. Further equipped with all the essentials ... So by all means check out the local area (three counties of Hampshire, Surrey & West Sussex) for the numerous great eating establishments (as well as the 2 local pubs and a deli within walking distance) but also get culinary and eat in. From the kitchen/diner depart the living zone and enter the bedrooms. One spacious double with beautiful old (believed to be from ships) beams with small TV and access up to the second bedroom in the barn roof (watch your head as this room really show cases all the elements of the support structure). Conveniently next to the living and bedrooms access the marble tiled bathroom complete with shower. Finally back to the outdoors ... enjoy the mature garden for some al fresco dining and good times. Guest access You will have complete and full access to this self-contained "East Wing" of the barn. It is accessable through the Oak framed garage (left hand, of the three garage doors). Note - the owners of the property maintain full access to the garages at all times and various cars and vehicles will be stored within. Other things to note Pets: Whilst we are pet friendly and we have a dog ourselves some of our guests are not, so we kindly request our fury friends stay in the tiled area of the kitchen/diner - many thanks for your understanding.
