🌿 Salt Leaf Stay – A Stylish Coastal Retreat in a Fantastic Location - Warm and cosy in winter, bright and breezy in summer, this charming ground-floor apartment blends Art Deco with modern comfort. Short stroll to North Beach, Stewart Park, Blue Mile, bike track and free Loop Bus around the city. Ideal for family holidays, wedding stays, work away from home or couple retreats. Close to popular cafés, Novotel, Lagoon Restaurant, and concerts / sporting events at the Entertainment Centre. The space Inside, the home features three comfortable and spacious bedrooms — a king-bed master, a double and a bunk bed, ideal for children or friends. All beds have sprung mattresses apart from the top bunk bed which has a foam mattress. In addition, there is a small fourth room set up as a work-from-home space making it perfect for professionals needing peace and privacy. The apartment includes two modern bathrooms with underfloor heating in winter— one of which features a full-size bath, perfect for families with young children or guests seeking a relaxing soak after a day exploring the coast. The light-filled open living area features a comfortable lounge for 4 plus two armchairs, and a dining table. Meals can also be enjoyed at the kitchen peninsula. The gas fireplace is currently being serviced but electric heating is provided for winter comfort. The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas cooktop, butler’s pantry, and all the essentials for longer stays. Wi-Fi, a television, and a selection of books and games are provided for relaxation between beach walks and café visits. A welcome basket awaits your arrival, along with local information and sightseeing suggestions — including child-friendly destinations. A private internal laundry room is available inside the apartment, equipped with a traditional wash tub for rinsing after a swim at the beach. Please note that there is currently no washing machine installed. Guests may use the shared laundry at the rear of the building, which includes free communal washing machines and dryers, as well as access to shared clotheslines. The back door of the apartment provides direct access to this area. Out front, the small porch offers a north facing bench seat, drenched in sun throughout the day — a beautiful spot to enjoy your coffee, read a book, or simply take in the surrounds and local community. While there are grassed areas around the building, children should be supervised at all times, as there are no fences and these are shared areas. Guest access The entire home, including a 2 car driveway and small front porch is available for guests to enjoy. A private internal laundry room is available inside the apartment, equipped with a traditional wash tub but please note that that there is currently no washing machine installed. Guests may use the shared laundry at the rear of the building, which includes complimentary washing machines and dryers, as well as access to shared clotheslines. The back door of the apartment provides direct access to this area. While there are grassed areas around the building, children should be supervised at all times, as there are no fences and these are shared areas. The garage is currently not available for guests except by special arrangement and a fee. Other things to note Set in the shade of the largest native gum tree in the area, the building is often visited by possums, cockatoos, kookaburras, and other native birds, offering a uniquely Australian atmosphere. With just three easy steps to the front porch, the apartment is easily accessed — convenient for prams, guests with mobility concerns, or those arriving with luggage. The driveway is only steps away from the front door are providing off-street parking for up to 2 cars in tandem - not that you need a car - Located just a few minutes walk to the beach, cafes and buses; a 15-minute walk to North Wollongong Train Station and the Wollongong Harbour precinct, and a 20-minute drive to Sea Cliff Bridge or Mount Keira/Kembla Lookouts, Salt Leaf Apartment offers easy access to both local attractions and key destinations. The nearby free Wollongong Loop Bus connects guests to the CBD, University of Wollongong, Innovation Campus, and Wollongong Hospital — making this a perfect base for work or leisure. Salt Leaf Apartment is ideal for professionals, retired travellers, wedding guests or families with children. While it is not the Hilton, I aim to give guests a 5 Star experience and will do everything I can to accommodate your particular needs and make your stay in North Wollongong wonderful.
