Charming Gîte in Maison Quercynoise

Welcome to our typical old Quercy house for stays for families or groups of friends. Located in the heart of a small village, it has 4 bedrooms with 3 en-suite bathrooms, offering comfort and privacy to all guests. There is also a reading nook, as well as a friendly play area. Enjoy the large terrace with all the essentials for an alfresco meal: barbecue, furniture ... close to the pool on sunny days. The space The stone house dates from 1865, and you have to climb the pretty exterior stone staircase to enter the house. The house has a spacious kitchen with a large fireplace (which is sealed off) where you will find everything you need to cook for your family or friends. In the cozy living room, you can rest or have a drink with friends. The very bright reading area facing the Vallons du Quercy and the play area for your children or grandchildren will allow you to relax. 3 large bedrooms each have their own private bathroom and toilet. You also have a smaller area converted into a bedroom (with a window) (8 m²) but ideal for one or two children. The sofa bed in the living room allows 2 additional guests to sleep (if necessary). The pleasant south-facing terrace allows you to enjoy the sun on sun loungers and a meal around a barbecue. During the summer, the pool (water depth 75 cm) will refresh you. From the house, you will find many hiking trails, many small roads that allow you to cycle (be careful, it is hilly), and a few kilometers away, typical villages with their traditional markets (Montcuq-en-Quercy, etc.) The vineyards are not far away, and many winemakers offer tastings. The Lot River, 10 minutes from the house, offers canoeing or swimming activities. You are in an ideal area for road biking or mountain biking (be careful... it's uphill) Remember that you are in the heart of a village, with a church...and its bells...which ring from 8 a.m. Other things to note If there are 8 of you, 2 people sleep in a secluded corner of the house (with window), not completely partitioned. In winter, the price already includes the electric heating costs Bath/shower towels are not provided (bed linen and tea towels are provided).
