In the lovingly renovated half-timbered house from 1850, top modern meets retro with charm... we hope you love it as much as we do The space Our large, spacious "Zickensuite" offers space for up to 4 people on approx. 100 square meters and also two children's beds, which we provide as required. As well as the complete baby equipment, so that you can enjoy your holiday in a relaxed way. The apartment has a large living/bedroom (double bed) with extra TV and a small separate bathroom. A cozy kitchen invites you to relax and cook. Microwave, coffee maker, toaster, stove with oven, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher are available. In the dormer room is a cozy single bed with pull-out bed, so there is room for up to two people (children). In the rustic living room, the kids will be surprised by a great play corner, parents can relax in the reading chair or relax on the couch. After an eventful day, treat yourself to a great relaxing bath with a view of the starry sky or a hot shower... Pure relaxation. No matter whether you like hiking (the Rennsteig starts in the neighboring village), cycling on the Werra Valley Cycle Path, conquering castles (Wartburg, Creuzburg, Brandenburg castle ruins), castles and mountains (Inselsberg), canoe tours (on the Werra - canoe rental is possible through us) or, like us, exploring the curves of the Thuringian Forest and the Hessian mountains on a motorcycle... there is a lot to see here and we are happy to give tips. Guest access The parking lot and access to the apartments is in the yard of the shop "Lausbuben und Zicken". This is located at the back of the building. Coming from the main road, turn right before Schulstrasse 2 and drive up the small driveway. The marked parking spaces are in the courtyard. ATTENTION: There are no turning possibilities in the courtyard. There are two parking spaces right in front of the building. (One parking space per apartment.) Please do not park with the exhaust to the building. When exiting, please reverse slowly and pay attention to pedestrians and cross traffic The key safes are located in the area of the right door. (From the parking lot, three flights of stairs down.) There are two key safes there. Access to the apartments The apartments can be reached via the left door. The Zicken Suite is located on the 2nd floor (attic). After you have reached the stairs to the 1st floor, please cross the long corridor to the other end of the building, There you will find the stairs to the 2nd floor, to the Zicken Suite, on your left. Other things to note Key code You will receive the code for the key box one day before arrival. On the ground floor of the house is the children's shop "Lausbuben & Zicken". So if you have forgotten something for your offspring, need a children's bike / balance bike / tricycle or are looking for small gift and souvenir items - we will be happy to advise you and you save luggage. Across the street you will find our book exchange booth - so there is also enough reading material for rainy days. Would you like to have a leisurely breakfast during your holiday? Our country bakery & café Stange (50m away) offers you a very rich and lovingly prepared regional breakfast (p.p. from approx. 5.00 €). To prevent too many holiday pounds from "piling up", the accommodation also includes three speedy mountain bikes and a Dutch bike. It is possible to rent children's bikes and bicycle seats through the shop.
