The small half-timbered house in the heart of the national park offers peace and relaxation. Nestled in mountains and valleys, the house is located on the most beautiful hiking trail in Germany, the "Eifelsteig" (awarded in 2023). In the center of the spa town of Gemünd, the two rivers Urft & Olef meet and flow into cold reservoirs with fantastic panoramas around the place. Boat tours & activities attract with hiking and cycling trails in nature as much as the heart desires. Visit our beautiful Eifel. ❤️ The space In the pretty half-timbered house there is a quiet bedroom with a cozy box spring bed. Next to the bedroom is the modern bathroom with a rain shower. A fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, kettle and everything else fulfills all wishes. On the small wooden bench in front of the kitchen, the first rays of the sun of the day can be enjoyed with breakfast. The spacious living/dining area has a large table for good food & games. Movie nights can be spent on the cozy sofa with the smart TV. The living area also has a fireplace for cozy evenings. The outdoor area is currently still being landscaped, but already has a beautiful wooden terrace and a lot of space. Guest access The entrance to the house next to the private parking lot in front of the door can be reached via two small steps. Behind the house, meadows, forests and fields begin where you can already start hiking. If you have any questions, we are here. 🌱 Other things to note The center of the quiet spa town of Gemünd, a small town, is a 20-minute walk from the vacation home. There are ice cream parlors, restaurants, bakeries, flower shops and shops serving daily needs. For special relaxation, hairdressers, Kneipp baths and massage parlors can also be found in Gemünd. On sunny days, an outdoor swimming pool for cooling off with beach volleyball courts is also open until September.
