Airstream Retreat is an original vintage 1975 Airstream caravan, situated in the Devon countryside with a private deck and views across the Teign Valley. Relax and enjoy the magnificent views or pull on your walking boots and explore the local area. However you spend your days, the Airstream is the perfect place for relaxing, outdoor dining, a dip in the wood-fired Hikki hot tub or a spot of stargazing on the deck. Featured on BBC 2's Unique B&B, it's the perfect escape to Devon! The space The Airstream is a beautifully restored 32ft vintage 1975 caravan, nestled in a secluded spot at the bottom of our garden. Surrounded by laurel hedging and fencing, it offers complete privacy with its own gated entrance. Inside, you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing glamping getaway in Devon. The fully equipped kitchen, compact bathroom with a traditional sit-down shower (towels included), and cosy full-width bedroom (bedding provided) ensure a comfortable stay, along with plenty of extras to keep you entertained. Step outside onto the spacious deck and take in the stunning views, with wildlife sightings including deer herds and birds of prey. The outdoor area is designed for ultimate relaxation, featuring a fire pit, seating area, gas BBQ for al fresco dining, and a private covered bathing space. For the perfect finishing touch, our luxurious wood-fired Hikki hot tub is tucked into the corner of the deck under a purpose built shelter, so it can be enjoyed whatever the weather. It comfortably fits two - ideal for unwinding under the stars or simply soaking in the peaceful surroundings of the Airstream Retreat. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the Airstream and its private deck. Other things to note Please be aware that the Airstream is accessed by a path which passes the main family home, with a designated parking space opposite the Airstream. The Airstream and private deck are private and yours to enjoy for the duration of your stay. The kitchen and BBQ are ready for use, but please bring your own food and drink for your stay. The hot tub is wood-fired. We provide a basket of logs to make it toasty, along with kindling and a few firelighters to get you started. If you need extra logs or kindling for the hot tub or fire pit, you can purchase more from the honesty box next to the Airstream for £10 per bag. Please note, due to location, WiFi is via a portable 4G device and there is a phone mobile signal. We suggest bringing flip flops for the decking, as it can become slippery when wet. The lawn at the front of the main house is private.
