A small, cozy and charming cottage behind a house in an old residential area in the center of Bakkum, ideal for a short stay to explore the immediate surroundings. The cottage is equipped with all comforts, and the neighborhood is adjacent to the vast Noord-Holland dune area and is 10 minutes by bike from the beach. The station with perfect connections in the direction of Amsterdam and Alkmaar is just around the corner. A supermarket and the cozy center of Castricum are also within walking distance. The space A small but nice space that does not feel small at all due to the high gable roof. The cottage is well insulated, so it is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Bicycles are not yet available but can be rented locally, bicycles that are brought by guests themselves can be stored safely but not yet dry. Upon arrival, you will find a small snack and a drink to start the adventure. The cottage is not large, so it is suitable for a small dog, for large dogs it will be a little too cramped. The cottage is located behind a house in a residential area in the old Bakkum and has a spacious outdoor place to sit in the sun. Guest access Through the alley to the right of house number 51, you will reach the entrance of the cottage. Through a side door on the left side of the entrance, you enter the side part of the garden where the bicycles can be stored. Through the French doors, you enter the garden with a seat where you can have a bite or drink and possibly catch a ray of sunshine. Other things to note Parking is a challenge in our street, on arrival unload with the hazard lights on and then find a spot in one of the surrounding streets.
