This great accommodation guarantees fun with the whole family. Discover Drenthe from a haystack hut! After a day of discovering Drenthe or after a long city walk through historic Coevorden (with castle), you will arrive at the yard of farm De Wilpenhoeve. You've already seen the haystack huts, they look super fun! You have found the most original overnight stay or place for a few days away in Coevorden! The space A haystack is a wooden insulated cottage in the shape of a haystack with an area of about 20 m2. In 1 hut, you can sleep 5 people; there is a double bed with a loft bed for 1 person above it, and there is a bunk bed with 2 sleeping places. There is a small kitchen with full inventory, a filter coffee machine, a kettle and two electric hobs. The hayloft cabin also has a shower and toilet. In front of the haystack cabin is a terrace with a picnic bench and a place to make a fire. There is also a large lawn where you can play to your heart's content. There is a sandbox with toys, and in the hayloft hut there are various outdoor games. From all sides, the haystack huts are surrounded by our animal meadow. From the terrace, you have a wide view over the land that borders the German border. You will see the windmills, enjoy the many meadow birds, pheasants, hares and the deer that also live on the land and listen to the calm animal sounds from the barn. Within walking distance is a cozy eatery for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We do not serve breakfast. Bed linen is included. Guest access You have a haystack hut all to yourself. On our property there are 2 haystack huts, with sufficient distance from each other. Other things to note THERE IS NO COMMUNAL SPACE WHERE YOU CAN SIT WITH A GROUP UNDER COVER. The haystack huts are located on an active farm. The cabins and the playground are fully fenced. Breakfast/lunch/dinner can be had at a cozy eatery within walking distance (closed Sunday/Sat from 6:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m., open other days from 5:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.).
