NC500 Helmsdale Holiday

Scenic seaside village on the NC500 and the road to / from Orkney, offering beaches; harbour; shore; arts centre & museum; lovely cafe, good pubs and fish'n'chip shop; train station..Great place from where to explore Sutherland & Caithness- archaeology; heritage; hills and adventure. New to letting-freshly decorated spacious, light and comfortable. Our home for over 10 years, it offers ample space for a family or friends. We don’t have lots of reviews yet but those we have had are great. The space The house is a beautiful stone property dating from the 1870's. Central heating, double glazing, make it warm and comfortable year round. The house is in the middle of the village, so within a really easy walking distance to either of the two pubs, Thyme & Plaice cafe, La Mirage restaurant, Gifted & Glencoast shops & Timespan Museum & Gallery. The sitting room with comfy seats and digital tv ensure you can relax and stay connected during your holiday, as you so wish. The kitchen has a dining table and is equipped with all you need. The garden is level and mix of gravel and lawn. We have provided a bbq and seats so you can enjoy being outdoors as much as possible. There is a covered area which can work as a drying space for wetsuits etc, and there is an outside hose for cleaning down kit. The garden is accessible from the house and our private parking area. Guest access Our off-road parking means it is easy to park and unpack whenever you arrive. Other things to note We can accommodate up to 4 -5 people in the rooms with king, and a doubles plus we can also make a z bed available as another bed for a child.
