Log cabin in Klokočov

We offer accommodation in a picturesque log cabin on the Slovak side of the Beskydy Mountains, Kysuce region. 6 km beyond the Slovak border. The cottage is in a small settlement "U Michaliskov" on the hill. It has no water (a well with crystal clear water is 120 m from the cottage) or electricity (it is lit with kerosene and candles). The location is unique in that this side of the Beskydy Mountains is not as frequented by tourists as the Czech one. GPS coordinates of the log cabin: 49.43805N, 18.59476E The space The log cabin is furnished in period style. Cooking is done on a gas two-burner stove. A small climbing wall is available in the building. The cottage includes a classic dry toilet. There is also a wood stove full of wood for heating the interior in the fireplace. In the living room there is one double bed + 2 extra mattresses. Under the floor of the living room is a small cellar where the year-round constant temperature is around 10 degrees. Behind the building there is a fireplace (wood from the adjacent forest is used for burning) + seating. Surrounded by beautiful vast meadows and forests that are full of mushrooms in season. Swimming is possible in the Predmierance river 1 km away or directly at the nearby well. Guest access Guests have access to all rooms of the building. A living room, a room with a small climbing wall, a dry toilet and a woodshed.
