With its unique design and location in the middle of the historic estate of Rimburg Castle, you will experience a stay that could hardly be more authentic. Nestled in the magnificent castle grounds with its picturesque castle pond, you immediately feel transported to another era. Here, where noble knights and elegant ladies-in-waiting once walked, there is now a special magic in the air – absolute peace, surrounded by nature and the castle's own forest. A place full of history Rimburg Castle was mentioned in a document as early as 1170 and looks back on over 850 years of eventful history. It was the seat of the Lords of Rimburg and was redesigned several times over the centuries – with baroque and medieval influences. The castle also played an important role in World War II, as it was located directly on the border between Germany and the Netherlands. Even today you can feel this history – for example on the small bridge over the Wurm, which connects both countries.
